Quantum Cabo CNW30PTS Conventional Trolling Fishing Reel
My buddy (Hoheezee) just picked up a new fishing reel to add to his arsenal. It’s a Quantum Cabo CNW30PTS Conventional Fishing Reel. I love fishing as much as the next guy, but he takes it another level I do not dare cross. It’s crazy what a hobby can do to a person. The crazy part is I’m a man of many hobbies. So, I feel this man’s passion…
Here are some photos of the Quantum Cabo CNW30PTS Conventional Fishing Reel at different angles.

Quantum Cabo Conventional Reels features: Solid one-piece aluminum frame, Saltgard 6-layer corrosion protection, Polymer-stainless 4 PT bearing system, Magnum ceramic drag, Continuous Anti-Reverse, Super-hard brass alloy machined gears, One-piece forged handle, 6.1:1 high-speed gear ratio, Quantum Hot Sauce lubrication

What I first noticed when I opened the Quantum Cabo CNW30PTS Conventional Reel box was the neoprene reel bag/cover. I saw somewhere that states all Quantum PT Saltwater Reels include the carrying case. That’s nice to know since I’ve had to buy them separately in the past for my other reels. I’d like to see more companies do this and don’t see why they don’t to be honest. I like to protect my reels from the elements while in storage or in transport…

Check out additional photos at different angles of the Quantum CNW30PTW Conventional Reel right HERE or go directly to Lapada Gallery and browse around and you’ll eventually find it. Maybe you’ll find something you like.

Swiss Gear Sherpa Camera Case
I’ve had this Swiss Gear Sherpa camera case for more than a week now to protect and store my Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. I went with this instead of the traditional Canon Leather Case that I normally would go with, like I did for my Canon PowerShot SD630.

What I was looking for was a smaller camera case than the Canon leather case. But I wasn’t finding any luck at any of the brick-and-mortar stores for instant gratification. I came across this Swiss Gear case and it wasn’t smaller, but bigger. Funny thing is that it felt smaller in the hands despite the larger physical dimension. Maybe it’s because it’s a soft case and not a hard one.

The Canon PowerShot SD780 IS is a small camera. Because of its small size, it slides very easily into the Swiss Gear camera case. It has a lot of extra room with a good amount of padding. Not as much padding as the Canon leather camera case, but good enough for the SD780 IS.

What sold me on the Swiss Gear case besides price was the extra space where you can keep a spare battery and a SD media card. I just don’t see why many camera designers not design extra pockets and such for things like this, Canon included. A media card pocket wouldn’t take that much room!?! I found myself looking for a place to carry a spare battery and media card when I had the traditional camera cases. And as a guy, and don’t carry a purse, it sucked. I don’t like my pockets full of items.
The only real downside to this case that many cases also suffer from is the ability to snap this to a belt or backpack strap without removing/undoing your belt/strap. It does have a belt loop, but one that can’t snap on and off. It shouldn’t be hard to design something like, this since it would basically use the same design as cell phone cases these days.
Now, the question is, would I recommend it? The answer is yes. I am looking forward for this case to last me a while.
For more photos of the Swiss Gear Sherpa Camera Case, visit here or go directly to Lapada Gallery. You’ll find other angles of the case to help give you a better look of the product that you normally wouldn’t get on the web unless having it physically in your hands.

ANSWER: Brown Chicken Brown Cow! (sing it to the tune of 70’s porn music)

The vintage design above comes in three colors. It comes in Brown Chicken Brown Cow in Orange, Brown Chicken Brown Cow in Pink, and Brown Chicken Brown Cow in Red.

Flambeau AZ3 Zerust Tackle System, Fishing Tackle Bag
A photo product review of the Flambeau Outdoors AZ3 Zerust Tackle System, fishing tackle bag. I went with a bag instead of your traditional hard cased tackle box. Plus, I’m a big fan of tackle box/bags that utilize these clear plastic containers. Even fisherman/anglers can be organized at times. Because less time looking, means more time fishing. Now on to the pictures…

The Flambeau AZ3 Zerust System has a large gusted back pocket and a drop down work surface on the front.

The tackle bag also has these side pockets for extra storage during those long fishing trips and large zippers...
The Flambeau AZ3 Zerust Tackle System also has a vinyl zippered inside pocket that keeps important contents dry. It also comes with 3 3003 Tuff ‘Tainers to keep your fishing tackle/gear more organized.

Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6600EXT
Here’s a photo product review of the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6600EXT fishing reel. This post is brought to you by Communicating Ideas by Visualnewbie and of course Hoheezee for lending us his brand new reel. I’m telling you, fishing can and in most cases will be costly as a hobby. But that’s usually part of the fun. Now on to the pictures…

This Abu Garcia Ambassadeur is a bit different than the other Abu Garcia fishing reels I’m used to and have. The handle, bail and drag placement are about the same, but that basically ends there. The alarm and free spool buttons are different in design as well as the whole body design. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t hesitate to add this to my collection.

Other Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6600EXT photos with different angles are available HERE on Lapada Gallery. Thanks goes out to Hoheezee for lending me this fishing reel for a few days! I know how it feels to be separated from your baby/toy for so long. Haha. Thanks again…

Canon PowerShot SD780 IS, Part 2
Here’s a photo product review of the Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. This photo product review is a bit different in that it gives you different views and angles of the product that you normally wouldn’t see. Usually the only photos you see are from manufactures and sometimes are not enough.
So I bring you, my new camera, the Canon PowerShot SD780 IS in black…
In some of the photos, I included my now backup camera, Canon PowerShot SD630, for comparison. The SD780 IS is not that smaller than the SD630, but when held in the hands, it does feel a lot smaller. It’s kind of weird. The texture is different between the two also. The SD630 has a silver finish that’s smooth while the SD780 IS isn’t. It has somewhat of a texture grip to it.
After a long weekend of using it in Las Vegas during Memorial Weekend, it did well. I loved using it and the more I used it, the more I appreciated it. But, because I was using it so much and it was handled at all times. Even when I wasn’t completely there, if you know what I mean, the fingerprints and marks were very noticeable on the camera. Where the silver finish on the SD630 wouldn’t show as much. So, I had to wipe it down with my shirt every once in awhile. But the black just looks so damn slick…

There are more photos of the Canon SD780 IS HERE at Lapada Gallery. I’ll be adding more photos of the camera as I use it more. The next coming post will have a sample of a photo I took as well as a HD video from Las Vegas. So, be on the look-out for those in the next coming days.

Daiwa Sealine SL20SH Fishing Reel
Fishing is one of my favorite hobbies. And boy can they get expensive. So, here’s my buddy’s (Hoheezee) somewhat new fishing reel. He’s got so many that this one just sits in the box waiting to be used. The Daiwa Sealine SL20SH…

I basically have the same fishing reel. The Daiwa Sealine SL20SH. It’s a great small fishing reel as well as a great caster. One of the best reels that I’ve used to cast lead and lures as far as I can from the shore and pier. It has seen plenty of battles…
What’s great is the oversized knobs to help bring in your catch. These handles are the same size as the larger models like the SL30SH and the SL40SH. The compact size is also great, but can have its downsides. With a reel this small, the amount of line it holds can be cut short when you hit a snag on the ocean floor. Thus, removing a good amount of line…
All in all, the SL20SH is one of my go-to reels. And it hasn’t let me down yet. I created this photo product review to give the viewer a good amount of different looks to help make their decision since a picture is worth a thousand words.
GO HERE (LapadaGallery.com), to view more photos of the Daiwa Sealine SL20SH at different angles…
Thanks to my buddy Hoheezze for lending me this fine piece of machinery! And he’s got more to show off!
“A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work.”

Canon PowerShot SD780 IS
I just picked up a new camera, the Canon PowerShot SD780 IS, just before the Memorial Weekend to replace my old, but trusty Canon PowerShot SD630. I put the SD780 through some tough times on the Memorial Weekend in Las Vegas. Mainly the partying, so it was handled roughly, if you know what I mean. And let me tell you, it performed great. Every time I used it, I just couldn’t get enough of it and I was glad to have made the jump to replace the SD630.
Here’s a picture of it, side by side with each other. Although the viewing screen was smaller than my SD630, the clarity is great. When I was handling it and comparing it to each other, the weight is also noticeable as well as the texture. I choose black and I hope I made the right decision. I’ll add another review of it when I have more time with the camera, along with an ample amount of photos to compare the size. This post is just to show off my little toy to start the summer.
What really sold me was that it recorded video in HD. The video recording on my old SD630 was pretty bad and didn’t use it often because of it. The Canon PowerShot SD630 is now my backup to my new Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. I can’t wait to use/play with it a bit more.
So, come back and I’ll have a more complete review…
