One of my favorite places to go to in San Diego for desserts is Karen Krasne Extraordinary Desserts. It’s a popular place to go to when you have a sweet tooth like I always do. But instead of enjoying the atmosphere that Extraordinary Desserts provides, we decided to have it to-go this time.
We ordered three cakes. It was neatly packed and arranged in a way that it wouldn’t get damaged during transport. The open space was stuffed with some type of tissue paper to secure the cakes. We also wanted to eat three kinds of cakes. You know, to have a variety to choose from. The first one…
1) Ivory Royale…
2) White Chocolate Cheesecake…
3) Dolce de Leche…
I’m not a dessert connoisseur, not even close and only know good or bad. And damn was this good! The desserts were rich and dense and you really couldn’t ask for more. In fact, we couldn’t even finish the three delicious cakes we ordered as you can see.
One slice of cake is plenty for one person. The cakes that we couldn’t finish were for two other people besides me. The best thing about cakes is that you can put them back in the frig and bring them out when you’re ready to eat them again. And boy did we get back to them and finished them in no time.

One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
