It was my dad’s birthday last weekend (Happy Birthday Dad!) and he received a package from cousin in New Jersey. She sent a package of these delicious chocolate covered strawberries by Sharis Berries, The Unforgettable Gift! And you know I had to try these…
The graphic designer in me needed to get a picture of a close up of the logo too…
As we opened it up and saw a dozen chocolate covered strawberries, my mouth started to water. And I mean water, like a faucet. As stated on my other posts, I’m a sucker for all things sweet. So I went straight for the white chocolate covered with coconut first, before anyone else. Some people don’t like coconut, but damn do I love them…
Here are some close ups. I liked the white chocolate covered strawberries the best…
With all the sweets I tend to eat, I’m just glad I’m not a diabetic. It would truly suck to not be able to enjoy a couple of these delectable snacks in one sitting. But eating more than that can be a bit too sweet. Even for me…

My Wing Stop chicken lunch…
Man do I love eating chicken wings! My all time favorite place to get my chicken wing fix is the great Royal Mandarin located in National City, here in San Diego. And all you San Diegan Filipino folks out there know what I’m talking too! It’s not a Filipino party/gathering if it doesn’t have Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings! Right?!? Yummy!!! But the Wing Stop chicken wings are pretty good too...
I’m not sure what made us decide to eat these instead of our usual favorite, but all I know is that if we order from them, I have to get the Lemon Pepper wings! I really don’t do well with spice. I also don’t know what it is with salt and pepper seasonings, just so damn good…
We also ordered a side of Fresh Cut Seasoned Fries and Bourbon Baked Beans (not pictured). The baked beans were pretty good. It really did have that deep flavor. To tell you the truth, I wasn’t expecting much out of it and it surprised me in a good way. I’m also not much of a fries kind of guy, but everyone else pretty much killed the whole thing. I guess they liked it…
I on the other hand basically stuck with the Lemon Pepper wings and I’m fine with that cause it not only got me stuffed, but also put a big smile on my face with burps breaking the smile every once and awhile from being full…
As much as they were good and tasty, there’s something that always bugged me about Wing Stop chicken wings. And it’s the size of the wings. They have to be one of the smallest chicken wings I’ve had. I sure hope that changes…
