Happy belated New Years! For New Years Eve, we ended ordering a cake from Extraordinary Desserts in Little Italy, San Diego to celebrate the end of a great year and the beginning of a new. And of course, we had to have some bubblies along with the delicious sweets…
The cake we ordered from Extraordinary Desserts is called Imperial Ivory (something like that). It's my go to cake whenever I visit the store when I’m not feeling adventurous. You just can’t go wrong with it and one of my favorites…

As you can see, it has white chocolate shavings covering the top as well as the sides. It also has some kind of fruit in it that I want to say, berries. As you can also tell from my description, I’m not a dessert connoisseur. Haha. I only really know good and bad. And this was really good…
The cake that we ordered is 8 inches and pretty pricey. But since we knew what we were getting ourselves into and the fact that New Year is upon us, we needed it.
After a short break from Monopoly, we decided to dig into the cake. I took the biggest slice out of all of them. And boy did it put a smile on my face. SO GOOD!!!
Besides having a delicious slice of cake, I wooped butt in Monopoly and won it all. What can I say, a great happy ending to 2009. And I welcome 2010 with open arms!!! It's going to be an excellent year!
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
