I love chocolate! And these chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii have to be up there on my list of favorite chocolates. I’ve been eating these since I was a kid. Some great memories… around Christmas time (2009), the family received a package from Hawaii. A couple boxes of these Hawaiian Host chocolate covered macadamia nuts and a couple cans of Mauna Loa macadamia nuts…
Like all things sweet and chocolate, the boxed candy suddenly became opened and attacked. It’s not a pretty site with us drooling over the package out of hunger like drug addicts. And it wasn’t by me since I was too busy trying to take a couple flicks for future blog material here on Communicating Ideas by Visualnewbie. During this whole madness, I decided the camera had to be set down so I can go claim a few before there weren’t any left. And in no time, the first box is an empty one and others were eager to open the next…
Maybe not as sweet, but just as delicious are these Mauna Loa macadamia nuts in different flavors. Honey Roasted Macadamias, Kona Coffee Glazed Macadamias and Maui Onion & Garlic Macadamias. I love the package design on the cans and love the Kona Coffee Glazed Macadamias even more. That my personal favorite of the three flavors…
All these snacks from Hawaii didn’t last long at all. And that’s a good sign that shows just how good and delicious it was by our actions. You know, actions speak louder than words. Our actions weren’t pretty, but they sure did show how much we loved them…
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
