Turon is a Filipino deep fry snack that's sweet and crunchy and basically a classic in our culture/community. Inside the fritter is sliced bananas lengthwise, jackfruit and brown sugar. Love the caramelized brown sugar! The best part, they're really easy to make. Do a Google search and you'll find recipes to get you started...

When eating Turon, they remind me of eating chips. You can't just eat one. In fact it's really hard for me to just eat one and usually would just grab a couple to satisfy me for the time being. Since the flicks were taken a few days ago, I'm thinking of starting up the frying pan to cook some up to please my sweet tooth. I guess we'll see...
