I just came across "The Expendables" movie poster and I'm really digging it! With the guns and knives, a few of my passions, fanning out to create some wingspan with a pretty cool looking skull in the middle. Very pleasing to the eyes I must say...
But it looks like some creative license is being used in the design by just mirroring the same side of the guns and knives rather than the other side. I guess they're just trying to create balance visually. I would of like to see the other side of the objects to be shown for the sake of paying attention to details. After all, with a movie like this, gun and knife owners are going to be criticizing every detail much more than your average moviegoer. Trust me, these people take their hobbies real serious and have no problem voicing them. I on the other hand want this poster, just to have it, cause it's cool...
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
