One of My Favorite Quotes...

“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”

Espasol, Filipino Rice Flour Snack

I'm not much of a cook, far from it. So instead, we picked up a small package of Espasol, sweet rice flour cake to snack on a few days ago. Espasol is a bit gooey/chewy in texture and for some reason, like what many others have said before me, will have you craving it often after the first bite. It's a Filipino snack that's also not too sweet nor packed with much sugar. Basically a great light dessert to snack on to help you get through your day...

Besides the chewy-ness, you also have the snack dusted with toasted rice flour coating the whole dessert. I'm telling you, it's pretty good stuff and you should give it a try. Anyways, I just wanted to share with you a snack that I've grown up eating and still continue to this day and hopefully brought back some memories for others in the process.
