So, here's part three of my build. Since I can't buy a complete KAC SR-15 rifle because it's on the Roberti-Roos assault weapons list (damn you California!), I did the next best thing. I bought a KAC (Knight Armament Company) SR-15 E3 IWS (Integral Weapons System) Upper Assembly from Valkyrie Tactical.
Here's some info about the KAC SR-15 E3 upper from Valkyrie Tactical...
"If you're looking for the best of the best, this is it. A direct result of Knight's Armament's U.S. Military development for the SR-16 upper has resulted in the most innovative and reliable upper for the AR15 market. The KAC SR-15 E3 IWS Upper equipped with a 16" chrome lined 1:7 twist cold hammer forged barrel with a proprietary mid-length gas system for increased reliability and smoother felt recoil. These components result in a very light weight upper that shoots very smoothly. This upper features Knight's URX II free-floating barrel system with integral front flip up sight and 5 integrated swivel mounts. The biggest improvement over the standard AR/M platform is an improved rounded multi-lug E3 bolt with dual-spring extractor and increased bolt web thickness for increased strength. This upper is compete and ready to attach to any AR15/M4/M16 lower receiver."
I also installed my Nightforce NXS 1-4x24 with the LaRue Tactical LT104-30 mount that I had sitting in the corner somewhere ready to be used. Together with the KAC SR-15 E3 Upper and complete lower that I just built is an awesome combination. I also installed the FDE Magpul AVG (Angle Vertical Grip). To be honest, I'm not completely sold on yet. I need some/more range time with it...
At the moment, I'm waiting to order KAC Taupe rail covers to complete the look. As soon as those come in, I'll be taking photos of the complete look and review of the final build to post here. I'm also considering purchasing the KAC Hand Stop to replace the Magpul AVG if I don't love it after some range time. But that won't happen until I have gave it some additional range time...

One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
