Over the weekend, it was another perfect day, featuring San Diego's great weather to do some people watching around the Gaslamp District in downtown. I almost forgot how much tourism San Diego gets in the Gaslamp and it was great to see all kinds of people roaming the streets. To add to the view, eating some ice cream from Ghirardelli made it even better...
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by one of the counter/register workers handing out a sample of their Chocolate Squares to everyone that walks in the doors. I've always loved their candy and am a bigger fan of their ice cream, but I'm not about to turn down some chocolate. No matter how much sugar I'm about to consume. I got the "Milk Chocolate with Caramel Filling" and it was darn good!
But lets get to the best part. The ice cream! I got the "The World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae" served in a freshly baked homemade waffle bowl. This dish comes with two scoops of vanilla ice cream overflowing with freshly homemade hot fudge, whipped with whip cream, chopped almonds and a cherry on top to complete the sundae. This is my go-to sundae whenever I head over to Ghirardelli. I should try something else, but it's just too good to pass up if you know what I mean...
Man do I love my hometown! It really doesn't get any better than San Diego living! That is all...

One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
