Headed over to Dave & Busters in Mission Valley/San Diego, to do a little celebrating for my brother for dinner. See, good things do happen to good people. Decided to go here to take advantage of the early happy hour (9pm-11pm) that they had. I busted out the trusted BlackBerry and started snapping away. Funny thing was, everyone basically had the same meal. So, here it goes...
Again, took advantage of the happy hour and got me a Crown and Coke instead of beer this time. Actually several of them and boy did that hit the spot. The waiter made some mistake and gave me an extra glass for free and I that appreciated. So, that deserved a good tip...
We ordered the Grilled Chicken Nachos for the appetizer and boy was that a bust. We were expecting your regular style nachos. You know, the ones with have a pile of tortilla chips and all that goodness topping it off. Instead, we got these gourmet style nachos?!?! What the hell! These were eight (8) individual tortilla chips that were topped off with the goods. I got so caught up on how bad they messed up the basic concept of nachos was, I forgot to snap a picture of it. Don't get me wrong, it didn't taste bad, but it also wasn't great either. It was just not worth it in my opinion...
Now for the entree. I usually don't order burgers when I go out to eat. I rarely do. But when I visit Dave & Busters to grub, I can't help but order the Dave's Double Cheeseburger with fries. Double meat and double cheese. Everyone got the same thing with slight modifications...
And for dessert, we went with the Frosty Mug Cookie Sundae. One for each person. I really don't know why I ordered this as I was already stuffed. But I did it and ate most of it. The mug is a 24 ounce mug three large scoops of vanilla ice cream served with chocolate syrup, whipped cream and candied pecans. It's also topped with a cherry and a chocolate chip cookie wedge. It was your average sundae, nothing too spectacular, but more importantly cured my sweet tooth for the time being...
We also got the D&B Power Cards. We didn't use them. I'm not much of a gamer, so it'll sit in my wallet collecting lint. Left sooner after the meal was done and man, I haven't been that full in a long time. Until next time, happy eating...

One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
