One of My Favorite Quotes...

“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”

My Canon 20d Body Becomes Backup

For the past few weeks now, my Canon 20d body, that used to be my primary has become my secondary/backup duty camera. I've upgraded to the Canon 5d from a buddy of mine for a real good bargain. Lets just say the asking price was too good to pass up and could of made some good money it resold. But, I wanted it and needed it and by luck, flat out good timing. So, this post is to pay tribute to my awesome workhorse Canon 20d camera that took many beatings...

My Canon 20d Camera Body Becomes Secondary/Backup Duty

It definitely feels strange to be using the Canon 5d after the many years I've been using the 20d. To give you an idea of how long I've had it, I've had the 20d when they first came out. So it was quite some time ago. Fortunately, it was an easy transition and not much relearning if any. I've been putting the 5d through its paces to get a feel for it so that I know what to expect much like I did with the 20d.

As much the Canon 20d being put on backup duty, it will still see the light every once and awhile. There's just way too much history between the camera and I to be stored and forgotten. And hopefully the 5d do me proud like the 20d has for so many years...
