A couple days ago was my parents anniversary. Too celebrate the special day, we got them a small cake from Extraordinary Dessert in Little Italy, San Diego. The cake we bought is the Passion Fruit Ricotta Torte, since it's one of their favorite flavors and what do you know, it happens to be one of mine too. As well as from one of my favorite dessert shops. As you can see, it can get a little crazy with all the flowers and stuff for the decor...
As for the description. The Passion Fruit Ricotta Torte dessert is tropical and light. This torte is also made of ricotta cake layers, soaked with passion fruit juice and layered with passion fruit whipped cream, kiwis, strawberries, and bananas. Just look at it, it's delicious! It tastes better than it looks. My photos of the cake don't do it any justice...
I didn't want to keep yabbing on about the dessert. This isn't the first time I've posted about this yummy snack. So, I'll let the photos do the talking. And I'm sure this isn't going to be the last time I'll be posting about it either. It was so good!
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
