One of My Favorite Quotes...

“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”

Kershaw Leek, My Old EDC Knife

Here are some recent photos of my old EDC (every day carry) knife, Kershaw Leek, that I've carried for some time a few years ago. As you can see, the Kershaw Leek has a bit of dirt and grime left on it due to carrying it regularly. It's an awesome knife for your regular Joe. I ended up giving this knife to my brother for his daily use...

This post is not much of a review, but more just for photos and to give others another view of what the Kershaw Leek looks like. There are tons of other reviews out there, but frankly not enough photos. Since this is still a popular knife and is still being sold, you can never have enough photos. More images of the Leek, the better. More photos here...

The Kershaw Leek is one of my first "quality" knives. I had this knife before I got bit by the Benchmade bug and it has served me well. I really liked carrying it during those times. It must of been the weight of it and the quality of the knife in my hands. It's very well built too. But it also could be the awesome speed safe assisted opening system. Flicking the knife in front of people to show, just screams cool to those who have never seen anything like it. It's so easy to open. And it's a good thing that there's a locking mechanism or it might not end well in the front pocket. More photos here...

Since I don't have or use the Kershaw Leek anymore I have since replaced it with other makes like Benchmade and Spyderco knives. Every time I do get this knife in my hands though, it feels real good. Something every good tool should have, a good feel. Having been an owner to the Leek, I have no regrets and only praises to this awesome EDC knife.

  1. I absolutely love the kershaw leek as well. I got one of these beauties for Christmas from my father, and I can't wait to try it out myself. Too bad you gave yours away!
