One of My Favorite Quotes...

“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”

Knife Photos: MTech USA MT-455

My buddy lent me his new knife for me to checkout and take photos of for the blog, Communicating Ideas. It's the MTech USA MT-455. I don't know anything about the maker or the knife itself and did try to search for it to add to this post, but no luck on my end. I guess these photos I'm about to show of the MTech USA MT-455 will be the few floating around the internet for the sake of sharing information. And I'm glad to be of help. So, here are some photos of the MTech MT-455 knife...

The MTech knife isn't that large. It does have some weight to it compared to other knives in the same class/size like the Benchmade Mini Griptilian shown. It is also pretty thick making EDC a bit uncomfortable, but that's due to the dual blades that it sports. One is a plain edge and on the other end is a full serrated blade. It looks pretty wicked if holding it in the middle, yet obviously not practical. More photos here...

Other than what I just posted, there's not much to say. It looks like a decent knife and should do well enough when you need a knife real quick. It's not in the same league as Benchmade or Spyderco, far from it. But that is not its intended market, especially being under ten bucks. If it breaks, just get another one. I have to tell you, it is pretty beefy to say the least. More photos here...
