Food photo time... This Filipino dish is called Miki. Miki is a Philippine type Chicken Noodle Soup. Well, it doesn't have to be chicken, but mine is. When you do a Google search for Miki, there are many recipe variations out there. Much like how there's plenty of pancit recipes to choose from. The one my mom makes is totally different from the ones found on Google image search. Hers is a much thicker in texture and frankly, delicious. Love my mom's cooking, it's so good. For some reason, this dish seems to be made more during or around cold rainy nights/days. I don't know if that's just a coincidence, but I do notice it though...
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
