Just got this email from Surefire about their new G2X and 6PX illumination tool and how it's available now. Since I'm a sucker for all things Surefire, the newsletter definitely caught my attention. Great timing also, I'm in need of a new emergency car light and been thinking about buying one soon. It'll be replacing a Streamlight that's been given to my brother. I've been thinking about getting a Fenix, but now that the G2X Pro, with dual output LEDs is now on the market, I'm going to go that direction to add to the never-ending collection.
Here's the info on the image in case you can't read it... "Surefire's new G2X and 6PX illumination tools feature virtually indestructible high-efficiency LEDs, 200 lumens of max output, deep micro-textured reflectors, sleek ergonomic bodies - and they're all priced within reach. These innovative new lights also have differences that allow users to select precisely the right light for their needs. Single output or dual output. Tactical press/twist or press/click switching. Hard-anodized aluminum or lightweight polymer bodies. You make the call. They're ideal for outdoor use, emergency preparedness, personal defense, and the everyday-carry needs of first responders and outdoor enthusiasts alike."
I don't know about you. But reading that got me really interested in the light. Not just tactical, but practical. The limited specs that have been stated are enough for me to want one and will get one soon. What can I say? They're basically the best lights you can get. And the best flashlights I've used. Hopefully I'll be putting that order in within the week...

One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
