I was tagging along with my brother and mom as he was doing some shopping at the Navy Exchange after being out for deployment for a few months. Man, I haven't been there for some time and it seems like something is always changing. After browsing through the electronics and mentally creating a wish list, I started to get hungry, which isn't a surprise since I find myself always hungry. Mentioning this to the both of them, it was decided to check the food court area. The only place that caught my attention out of about 6 or 7 food vendors was Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
This isn't much of a review, but more of a time to share. I've reviewed Five Guys a few times on this blog and that's enough for me. But this is the first time I been to this location on the base. Besides this location, I've been to the Liberty Station one in Point Loma. Two different atmospheres with Liberty Station being more like a restaurant and the 32nd being your typical food court type setting you would see at the mall.
I remembered that I wasn't impressed with the burgers with bacon cause of the lack of it in it. I could barely taste it. Instead, I just went with the regular Cheese Burger with everything. We also bought the Cajon Fries. For some reason, I don't remember the cajon fries being as spicy as I had them this time around. In fact, they weren't. These were pretty damn spicy and had me sweating, but were pretty good too. So, here are some pics out of my BlackBerry of those...
One of My Favorite Quotes...
“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”
